Philippe Avignant is a classically trained Fine Arts canvas artist. Currently, he works through the medium of enamel paint and mixed media on stretch board canvasses, sketches in color and sculpts with metal and clay. He was born in Clermont-Ferrand, France and now works and resides in New York City.
He exhibits regularly in France and internationally. Some of his current works can be seen at La Galerie St. Cyprien, St. Cyprien France, and Château de la Chassaigne, Thiers France, where he is on permanent exhibition.
